Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using CoffeeMatch ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. What CoffeeMatch Does

CoffeeMatch is a team connection tool that pairs members of a group for periodic coffee catch-ups. Group administrators configure frequency and pairing rules. Members receive email notifications with their match details.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. You must provide accurate information when creating your account. You may not share your login with others or create accounts on behalf of people without their consent.

4. Acceptable Use

You may use CoffeeMatch only for lawful purposes. You must not:

• Add people to groups without their knowledge or consent
• Use the Service to send unsolicited commercial communications
• Attempt to access another user's account or private data
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or interfere with the Service
• Use the Service in any way that violates applicable law

5. Groups and Content

Group administrators are responsible for ensuring that all members have consented to participate. You retain ownership of any content you provide (profile information, group descriptions). You grant us a limited licence to store and display that content to operate the Service.

6. Subscriptions and Billing

Free accounts may create up to 3 groups. Pro accounts (paid) unlock additional groups, analytics, and API access. Subscription fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable except where required by law. You may cancel at any time; your Pro access continues until the end of the billing period.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is". We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that matches will always be made. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability to you for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. On termination, your data will be removed within 30 days.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you by email of material changes at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance.
